Oh yes where gonna have a white xmas, and the new year should start off with a bang, but i dnt think im actually feeling it, ''for christ sake the year is comming to an end''. yes 2009 is almost over and 2010 is on its way.

As we move foward vogue have hosted the celebrity best dressed for the year 2009 many celebrities were caught rocking the best outfit but only one caught my eye ''Lady Gaga'', this woman is so dearing and shows alot of confidence through her pieces i would give her an award for almost anything especialy for dressing the way she does.

clothes show live has been going for 21 years, forcasting future trends and giving us a peek into the life of fashion, Friday 4th december was the first day of the fashion show and it went off with a bang. the atmosphere was so live and creative if u attended im sure you were knocked off your seats. not only was i impressed by the atmosphere but with the two guest stars from hollyoaks Gilly(Antony Quinlan) and Zoe (Zoe Lister) so if you are ever planing on going to a fashion show book your tickets and get your self down there because its well worth it and plus you get major discounts from all the stores there.

Socks and Heels- is that the look?

I have been thinking about this subject for quite a while now, but never thought id ever see people wearing socks with high heels. Although they look slightly interesting and like they will make a big fashion statement i don't think il be rocking that swagger but i think the open toe socks which are availiable from gap and topshop will make a great impression on the way we wear our shoes today. " kind of ugly bettys style"

Graduate fashion week

It is great that there is such thing as the graduate fashion week as young people studying within the fashion sector can get a chance to show off their creative ideas.
GFT was launched in 1991 and has been running every year since, always set in june at earls court which is known for havin live concerts such as, brit awards and the vodafone live music awards,located in london many stars have performed there and have have left footprints of many fans. The fashion show always makes a big impact over 50 universities get the chance to be involoved in this experience and the last day of the show is education day so this gives students wanting to learn at this level a basic teaching of what to expect.
GFT sponsered by river island will award the winning student £20,000 " what a lucky student." i cant wait to see who will be the winner next year!

ohh my gosh, leeds shoping week went off with a bang this week as the new store founde by create sHowcased a fashion show, the fashion show was to show the general public what can be found inside the store, it was based on 80's vintage clothing and what designers they work with this was based in the backend of the St Johns centre the store had help with fashion retail students from leeds city college and other guest . Found by creat is a recent store that was opened to the public on the 1st of october, found by create is a store where you can buy re owned clothing at a cheap price not only that you can bring in ur fashionable clothing and donate them to the store anything is acceptable as long as it looks great and is in good condition bring them along and start donating.

forget hats and scarves this season, as it seems snoods are the new look for autumn/winter im sure we will all want to swop our bold neckwear for one of theses babies lol, lol. the snood is a combination of a form of head and neckwear made in a different variety off materials from 100% wool to 100%silk these snoods can be worn to keep the warm in and the cold out or can be worn to compliment ur outfit, YOU CAN WEAR IT WITH ALMOST ANYTHING!! snoods were Traditionally favoured by women trying to protect long hair, and also rather popular among teenagers of 20 years ago.
a snood can be pulled over the head like a hood, or pushed down around the neck like a scarf that can't come undone. so if ur intersted in following the look i thnk u better get down to the highstreet and try and get one. lol remember its autumn winter so settle for suttle urban tones!

It is said that Burberry is on a roll and back on top form with their latest collection for spring/summer 2010 shown at the london fashion week. Burberry has made a successful comeback and plan to open up to 15 new stores by 2010 and plan to have emma watosn as their front woman, CHRITIPHER BAILEYES spring/summer collection is set to be a big trend next summer and will be on track many more years to come. london fashion week met the likes of gwyneth paltrow, alexa chung and liv taylor all dressed up for the occasion and were very excited about the previews of fashion to come next year.

big shoulders to make a come back

It all started in the 1980's when shoulder pads were known for the power dressing look, margret thatcher was a great leader of this thrend as she was the first female priminister of great britian. Margret would dress like this so that she could set a statement to show people that she was in charge and that she was a leader. LUCKY for us this look is set to be back on trend this autumn/winter so im sure plenty of us will be running to our favourite highstreet shops to make our requests.
This accentuated look started off back in spring when then Rihanna was seen rocking a black dolce & gabbana tuxedo with big puffed sleves and a bow tie to the met costume institue gala and as we all know Rihanna is not a trend follower she's a trend setter so what ever she's caught rockin im sure we'll be rocking it to, and we can't forget the one and only kate moss who was also seen wearing a black and silver balmaine dress with a black shoulder bag to blend in with her outfit and yes she looked as gorgeous as ever!
WELL GURLS im sure alot of us want to follow the trend this winter BUT YOU HAVE TO GET IT RIGHT because im sure you dont want to end up looking like a 1980'S THROWBACK, this will be a good look for pear shaped figures as the wider shoulders will balance wider hips. The KEY to achieving this look is to keep the look simple and have a good balance, these big shoulders are definetly going to be a wardrobe must have and will be around for some time
